Tools are AssetNow applications used to manage the site, users, and content. Tools access is available to users with AssetNow NX roles such as publishing, approval and administration.

Accessing the AssetNow NX Tools

AssetNow NX is easy to use with practical web browser based tools that can be accessed from anywhere with a suitable Internet access.

AssetNow NX Content Tool - Categories

AssetNow NX organizes content in categories. An unlimited number of categories can be added the the hierachical site tree. The Category tool is used to create and manage categories.

AssetNow NX Content Tool - Content

The Content tool is used to publish content pages. Most pages display information published with the XHTML editor and include images and files. However pages can also use specific templates and contain widgets for complex requirements.

AssetNow NX Permissions Tool - Users

The Permissions tool is used to manage site access permissions and tool permissions. To access private/member content or use the tools requires a user account with the appropriate permissions.

AssetNow NX Permissions Tool - Groups

Groups allow you to easily manage many users with the same permissions. A user account must belong to at least one group.

AssetNow NX Permissions Tool - Roles

Roles are used to assign applications to users. Typically roles are used to assign AssetNow NX tools to users. Roles can also be used by developers for custom application permissions.
