Publishing a Flash movie (swf)

AssetNow NX places no limitations on the type of content that can be processed. You can specify the types of content you wish to allow in the system configuration. Thereafter you can upload and insert content types as required.

Embedding swf assets

The AssetNow NX XHTML editor allows setting of object properties allowing you to add and configure Flash objects directly in the editor.

The following movie is has been added using a Flash object widget. The Flash object widget uses the swfobject script developed by Geoff Stearns and Boddy van der Sluis and is endorsed by Adobe.

SWFObject is an easy-to-use and standards-friendly method to embed Flash content, which utilizes one small JavaScript file.

New releases of Adobe tools including DreamWeaver and Flash use swfObject as the default embed method when generating templates.
